Linen-cotton beach short is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweet shorts These baby's look great and feel great. A little tight, but that's my own doing as I should be able to fit into 33 comfortably.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor stitching ruins an otherwise great garment Let me start by saying that these shorts look great. They fit a little more loosely than the the comparable lightweight Gramercy shorts and the broken-in chino shorts, but it's not a deal breaker. The inseam is also a little longer than advertised and has a strange flare at the bottom which can be fixed by folding up at the stitching. Again, this isn't a deal breaker. What makes these shorts worth a 1-star review for me is the apparent lack of quality in the manufacture of the garment. After only one light use for about 4 hours (a walk around town and some lounging around the flat), the stitching at the crotch had begun to come loosen a very unfortunate location. Additionally the fabric is very lightweight and looks like it lacks any sort of durability. I am afraid that it'll fall apart after the first wash, even if washed by hand. I won't be able to verify this though because the shoddy stitchwork seems guaranteed to give out before that point.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't get the sand color I got the grey color and it's perfect, so I ordered the sand color. I threw it in the wash without trying it on, and when I tried it on I realized it's almost completely see through. I could just about make out the pattern on my boxer briefs. Couldn't return it because it's washed - which is totally my fault. The grey is NOT see through and is a very good pair of shorts. This review is hard because the grey is a 5/5 perfect purchase and the tan is a 0/5 will never wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable linen cotton blend This pair of linen cotton shorts are really lightweight and comfortable. It might not be the best construction, but they are a very nice pair of shorts for warmer weather. They are very breathable, have a nice color to them, and has the perfect length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from quality shorts True to fit in the waist. Just a touch long in the crotch for my taste, but I'd buy them again. They look really nice on. Wash and hit with a quick iron for best look. I predict they will break in to be some of my most comfy shorts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit Like A Dream But... These shorts in gray are the perfect color to go with many different shirts and they fit like a dream. However, I was a bit disappointed in the lack of quality control as the pair that I received was a bit crooked in the area that covers the zipper...it started from the bottom just fine but veered off to the side by the time it got to the top...therefore, making the button noticeably off-center. I attempted an exchange at one store but they were out of my size...oh, well...I guess a belt can help hide the "deformity".

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Looking, not so great quality I love the look of these shorts. Material looks great on first use. The problem is, the fraying at seams starts after that first use. The first pair it started after one washing (hang dried) just below the fly and around the rear pockets. I thought this was a one-time defect, not a product defect. I had them exchanged, no questions asked (that's the great news). The bad news is, the second pair did the same thing. One wash in a garment bag after a single use (not heavy use, mind you... I'm talking wearing to the library and board game night) and there is a hole the size of an eraser head at the pocket flap. Really bummed because these shorts look great, I just know that the hole will be a rip after 2-3 more washings. My wife has a pair of Factory linen shorts that are going strong 2 years later. I guess, as the saying goes, they don't make 'em like they used to.
