Rated 5 out of 5 by Tati Fun piece for Fall!
This is a really cute piece for your fall wardrobe and will pair nicely with a lot of other pieces. I like the button-front design, as well as the pockets. Quality of the cord fabric is good -- more of a wide wale style. The 'redwood' color reads as a reddish-brown tone, and matches the online image.
Fit: I'm 4'11". 110# with an almost 30" waist, small hips, not much of a bum. My usual skirt sizes for J Crew Retail or Factory are a 0 Regular, or a 2P. I had to exchange the 0 for a 00, as I found this item ran a wee bit large -- enough that i could take in a good inch or so. (The 0 gave a slightly boxier and wider side profile, while the 00 is more fitted but still comfortable.) The cord fabric also has some stretch. Customer Service said the 00 waist is 29 1/4", while 0 is a 30 1/4" so keep it in mind. Length is just above my knees (but I'm short - this will be a true mini on some.)
All in all, I'm very pleased and highly recommend this piece!

Rated 3 out of 5 by bythelake disappointed, as waist is huge
Adorable skirt, but the fit is off. The waist is HUGE and measures 31" on a size 2, which means it sits low on my waist. To fit my waist I would have to take it in over 5". I guess I expected something more aline and fitted in the waist, as it appears in the photo, and as this style of skirt should be. It is a fairly straight cut. It is great if you have a boyish figure with little difference between waist and hips, but even then I would size down. I have a 25" waist, 36" hips and have no problem with similar style skirts from other retailers.
Other than the fit issues the skirt is cute. The color is a chestnut brown rather that the beautiful reddish rust I was expecting. Still pretty, but more orangey brown than reddish rust. Also for note the buttons don't unbutton all the way down. Only the top 2 or 3 buttons open and the rest are decoration. In all I had such high hopes for this. I'll probably keep it and take in the waist, but this should have been an easy skirt to get right.
