Short-sleeve sweater

Short-sleeve sweater is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this sweater I sized down like other reviewers suggested (to a small, I'm usually medium; wear an 8 and sometimes a 10) and it fits beautifully. Not at all boxy, it's fitted and falls at the high hip. The neckline is perfect and the sleeves are too. This is such a versatile sweater as it can go casual (jeans, cords) or you can dress it up a bit and wear it with a pencil skirt (I envision the pink with a black skirt and pearls for going out). I love it and just ordered every color. So far I have the pink and the green--both are soft, muted pastels and look great. I hate wearing sweaters to work because I get too hot (I'm a teacher and am always moving around) so I'm always looking for short sleeves and they are so hard to find, especially in a classic design like this. I would order dozens if there were more colors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sweater - color a bit off This is a great sweater - not too thin and fits true to size. I ordered the yellow and it's a bit more yellow/green/flourescent so am sending it back. Going to order in the navy and hot pink so hoping the color is better as this is definitely a wardrobe staple.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute - but really itchy! Part of me is wondering if I received a different sweater than some of these people!? Its nice in terms of shape, cut, fit, etc. But it is TRULY ITCHY. Lately, all of the sweaters I've ordered from J Crew factory have been scratchy and rough to the touch - not sure if they have changed materials or vendors, but its disappointing to say the least. This would be the perfect work appropriate sweater, if only, i didn't feel compelled to wear long sleeve tops under it b/c of the itch factor!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from boxy but works layered with a l-sleeve t under or a light sweatshirt or jacket over. the material is thicker than i imagined for this price point. and the grey is opaque but WARNING - heather breeze is an awful shade of green, like jade and your grandmothers mint had a baby. in the pics it looks like blue, but there's not enough blue in this dye to even leave the green section of the color wheel. it's really just not okay how off it is b/c this is a shade that won't work at all. i may try to darken it with navy dye since returning is hardly worth it. the crew neck is nice and firm, should keep it's shape over time. am 8-12 depending, and the large is long enough but more like a 12 in the body, 10-ish in the shoulders. the three stars come b/c the sleeves are awkwardly short and they look almost angled. so, if i wear it and the cozy factor brings it up a star, i will edit (if i can) this review. but thanks JCrewF for finally allowing customers a voice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DISAPPOINTED! Poor quality/ Serious Pilling! I bought the same sweater in 3 colors in the Fall because I loved the style and fit, and they made great work sweaters. However, after several washings, two of them they showed really terrible pilling- to the point where I had to get rid of them! Very very sad and extremely disappointed on the money I spent on them. Did not expect this to be the JCrew standard! I am re-thinking my other JCrew sweater purchases now :(
