Homespun popover shirt in boy fit

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Runs Large I usually buy Factory tops in XS, but this popover was HUGE. I'm 5'3" and my measurements are 32-25-36. I thought I might be able to shrink this into a nice, oversized shirt to wear with leggings, but it was still too baggy. Be forewarned that it did shrink quite a bit. I really liked the heavier weight fabric and the barnett plaid is adorable, so I'd recommend this but def size down. November 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Linen blend Purchased this shirt in a medium because I have wide shoulders. The medium is big but fits better thru my shoulders and due to the oversize the shirt looks great with skinny jeans. It has a linen feel to it therefor it hangs really nice! August 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Runs very large- but well-worth its weight in Au I am going to start with saying that I usually wear a small to medium in J.Crew shirts-- and had to purchase this top in an XS! Even then, it's still very loose fitting and drapey- and still flattering. It's a perfect fall pattern, and I cannot wait until the weather gets cooler so that I can bring out my riding boots and wear them with this shirt. The material itself is thicker than their gauze popovers, but not as thick as their flannels. Highly recommend! September 12, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by casual shirt I like the lighter weight fabric. The fit is on the large size. I usually wear a 12 and this fits like a 14 or even larger through the midsection. February 1, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lovely Fall Plaid I wasn't familiar with the "washed" shirts when I ordered so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I loved the Barnett Plaid color so I took a chance and ordered. The shirt feels like a thick linen material which makes it cool enough to wear with the sleeves rolled up during those fall days that turn out warm in the late afternoon. It's a tunic so it's long enough to fully cover your rear when pairing with leggings and boots, but not so long that you can't tuck in the front with skinny jeans and a belt for a cleaner look. It does run large..larger than normal for J. Crew. I tend to wear an XS in J. Crew and a S everywhere else, with this shirt in XS is pretty roomy/kind of boxy on me. I kept it, as there isn't a Factory near me and I didn't feel like going through the hassle of doing the return, but I think XXS would have fit perfect for a more tailored tunic look.
