These pants run a bit small compared to other pants that I have worn from J. Crew and have a very high waist, but they are cute. Also a bit thinner fabric then I expected. May be better for summer wear. I like them quite well and will be keeping them.

Sadly they look great until you try them on
To start off, ALL of my work pants, dresses, skirts etc are JCrew. I love everything! But these pant. I needed a new pair of black wool dress pants for work, so I purchased these in a size 4 my normal size. I'm 5'7 and 122lbs. The fit was terrible! They are extremely high waisted and baggy. I tried to love them or at least like them. I don't think a smaller size would have made a difference. The pants felt great and looked nice! Wish they would have worked.

All around not great.
First off, the fabric is very, very thin and they aren't lined at all. So they are itchy while showing off every imperfect bump and dimple. I was hoping for trousers with a bit more substance as I am in the northern part of the US. Secondly, the rise is way too long and the pant legs are entirely too long. If you are on the shorter side I would steer clear as the proportions are off. I suspect these would be fine pants for someone over 5'5" with a perfect cross-fit trained butt who lived where it never got cold.
