I normally wear a 14 tall or a 12 tall if there's some give. These have spandex but still not much give so I had to order the largest size, a 35. the regular fit for length, thank goodness, as I am 5'10". The 34 just barely fit but afraid they would shrink and I want to be able to put these in the dryer, so sticking with the size 35. In other stores I would wear a 32 so these are running extremely small. But if you can find your size, these are decent quality and the length and style are great. I have the white and the navy both are beautiful. The white is not see through. The navy is a rich dark tone. The green is nice in person but so dark it almost appears black and I already have cords in that color, but it is still nice if that's what you are looking for.

The style and quality are good on these bootcut cords. However, like the other reviewers mentioned, they run small.....especially in the waist. I have a fairly straight-shaped body and these were tight in my regular size. I tried the next size up and the fit was off. Hopefully they will bring these bootcut cords back next year with a better fit.

Great cords...just too small.
I so wanted these to work. I am a bit pear shaped but even ordering a size up was too tight on the backside. Unfortunately, they've gone back.

Way too small... not even close
I saw these ran small according to other reviewers, so ordered up a size. They are still UNWEARABLE tight. Unfortunately, they are final sale and unreturnable. Not expecting this from JCrew.
If you want to risk buying these, go, maybe... 4 sizes up?

I'm not sure what others are talking about but these pants fit me true to size. I'm usually between a size 6 or 8. I bought the size 29 and they fit perfectly. Very nice thick cord material to keep me warm. I found them to be high quality material and very much in style. I really like them!
