Petite Vail parka

Petite Vail parka is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous red color! This coat is beautiful. It's made well, and the red color is so bright and pretty -- a nice change from all my black and gray coats/jackets. I would say that it fits true to size, as I ordered the size I would normally take in J.Crew's coats, and everything about it fits perfectly. I'm about 5'4" and 115 lbs., ordered the Petite 0 for reference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fits perfectly! I am 5'3, 108 lbs, the petite 00 fit perfectly! The length sits above the knee and it still has some room to layer underneath!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great style and color, but fit could be better Very happy with this coat! I had my eye on the J. Crew Chateau parka but couldn't justify the cost, and then I found the Factory version and it's now my favorite coat! For half the cost of the regular J. Crew coat, it makes a great alternative and is good quality. I purchased in the Saddle color and it's beautiful. The faux fur (which is removable) complements the tan Saddle color really well. I get so many complements on the coat every time I wear it. The coat runs large. It has a boxy and slight A-line fit, which doesn't fit well with those who have a flatter body. I'm 5'2 under 100 lbs and the 00P fits well body and sleeve length wise. However, I ended up going to a tailor to take in the coat a few inches so that it was more fitted. I got the coat on super sale (50% + an additional 15%) so the extra cost of tailoring was not a problem. I love wearing this coat. It looks good dressed up or worn casually. It is fairly warm and I don't feel that cold in mid-30 degree weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected! For the price I paid (super on sale) I expected lesser quality than what arrived. It feels amazing on, and the feel is soft and substantial. I love that you can remove the hood, that the pockets for hands are above the button pockets, the zipper is easy to zip, the snaps are sturdy. My favorite part is the A line shape which doesn't come through in the photos. It's adorable. I'm 4'11" and normally a P2 in Loft/Ann Taylor so that was what I ordered and it's perfect. Overall, a great purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful coat!! i got this vail parka in dusty ginger, size petite 4. i'm 5'3", 116lbs and it fit perfectly. the sleeves are just the right length and the bottom hem hit me mid-thigh. it's comfortable and has enough room for layers underneath without feeling constricted. the shape was not as straight on me; it flared out a bit along the bottom making it more tent shaped, but it was still flattering and didn't make me look wider! the color is as it looks online, a nice peach. i was looking for a lighter colored coat for contrast with jeans and boots. the fur along the hood is removable for when it's time to wash the coat (it will look like something is missing if you take it off because the gold clasps show along the rim). the material's nice and thick, 50% polyester/50% wool. it's not scratchy at all and is completely lined inside. my only gripe is that it's kind of difficult to zip up, not because of the quality of the zipper, just because of its placement. overall, i love it. it's a beautiful coat!!
