10" highest-rise straight jean in bleach wash

These jeans will literally arrive labeled 'Mom Jeans' which is what I was absolutely in the market for. They button above the navel and if one doesn't have a full backside, these jeans will appear to flatten out one's figure out even more. These mom jeans are made of a thinner denim material than I had hoped for, panty lines are visible if one isn't mindful, and the front pockets don't conceal or flatter a fuller/rounded stomach. And since the length is fairly cropped (exactly as they appear--rather awkwardly IMO--on the model) these jeans probably won't be too flattering on a woman 5'4 or taller, unless one rolls/cuffs them at the bottom, IMO. Additionally the sizing is larger than anticipated, but for my build and what I was looking for, these were nearly exactly what I was looking for the day I ordered them. I liked them so well I ordered another pair for myself & came back to order another pair, as a gift, for my mom who said she wanted a pair when she saw me wearing mine.

When you open the package and the label on the jeans say "mom jeans" that is not a good start. They don't look like they do in the picture and they are not ankle jeans they are short mom jeans. I got them clearance so they can be my work in the yard jeans.

Mom jeans DO NOT WORK for me. These are not a true straight jean as the title says. The label on the jeans says Mom jeans, which I 100% stay away from. These are some how loose and tight in all the wrong places on my abdomen. They are fitted on the butt, and loose below it. These will work better for someone curvier than me. I wear a 6/28, with some curves, but apparently not enough for these jeans.

I have a 26' waist and 37' hips, so jeans many times gape at the waist. Usually high waisted jeans solve this problem but even so the waist was much too big, to the point that a belt would have just made the fabric bunch up. It's slightly oversized too. Loved the style and color but just wasn't for me.
