Velvet dot tank top

The velvet dots on this otherwise plain black tank are cute. Whether you wear this under a cardigan or blazer or by itself, the velvet dots makes this piece a bit more special and certainly adds some interest! It is a little thin, though, but that makes it easily wearable under a cardigan or blazer.

I love nearly everything I buy from J Crew & Factory, but this was an exception. Cute- yes. But SO thin! You can even see through the front(and it's 2 layers. The back is ultra see-thru, so I would say a bra is out of the question- you need a camisole(and a bra, too if you need one). I expected it to be a heavy, winter-weight velvet. It has a winter 'look,' but not feel. Will I return it? No. But will have to wear with a camisole or a great red jacket I have, Runs small. I had to size up.

Love this piece!! Perfect fit, great quality, and a wonderful staple for my wardrobe as a shell or on its own!

I just received this item and I am shocked at how thin it is. When you hold it up, you can see straight through it. Also, the velvet dot pattern doesn't continue to the back. It's is shown in the picture like that, but I didn't notice before I purchased. Pretty disappointed in the quality of this purchase.
