Crystal leaf bracelet

Pretty bracelet, really lovely colors, but it arrived with one of the elastic strings connecting the crystals snapped. Sad. Is it quality control, or rough treatment en route? Will never know. The cost of returning would equal cost of the bracelet (on clearance). So, will throw toss it along a walking path area where I walk and hope an inquisitive crow or human will find it and use it for parts.
