Lovely fit, true to size skirt
February 25, 2021I was very pleased with the quality and fit of this skirt. I got the 14 because I have a large middle (thank you, quarantine) and it fits my waist and hips perfectly. It curves slightly inwards around my knees. Very flattering...slimming. The tweed is not a knubby, thick fabric. The fabric is smooth and the pattern lays flat so it does not make you look wide. The colors are off white, black and a taupe/brown. The length goes about 2 inches below my knees. I have a short waist and almost all my pencil skirts are 20 inches long and hit just below my knee. Looks good with cashmere turtleneck or crewneck sweater, silk tie-neck bouse, perfect fit white t-shirt, blazer jacket, long open cardigan..you name it. Very happy with purchase.

February 17, 2021The skirt looks very professional, I bought the matching jacket with it. Tweed as you know tends to run small, so I suggest you go up a size.

Buy one or two sizes larger. It came out small.

Way too small
January 2, 2021I am always an 8 in everything J Crew and this ran really small. More like a 6. I could get it on, but very tight and uncomfortable. And it’s one of those final sale items, so I can’t return. Bummer.
