High-rise girlfriend chino pant

TTS, weight 140 lbs, 5'4", Wear size 27-28 or 4-6. I bought size 6. Soft material. I went to 4 stores, they don't even have this high waist pants. I tried in this pants in the store. It fits perfectly. Plan to buy different colors.

Fit is great! I can style them up or down. So far hold up well with washes.

I'm 5'5" apple shaped plus size woman. Based on size chart I was worried the waist would be too small and the butt/upper thighs too big as JCrew doesn't seem to consider apple body shapes; always a solid 22W at Talbots. To my delight the pants fit great. The extra room in the upper hip and thigh area allowed pants to glide over my tummy for a nice flat look. Even better the length is 1 cuff away from perfect (Talbots always require several inches hemming). Waiting until after washing to hem. A little shrinkage and I'm good to go. Advertised as high waist but I would call them middle rise as they hit me much lower than other "high rise" pants. These pants are a terrific deal on sale at $54 let along the final sale price of $27. I'm going to buy 2 more colors and hope sizing is consistent between colors. Typically, I don't buy anything final sale as it's too risky to get something that doesn't fit.

Great color, odd fit through rear and hips.

Nice relaxed fit, good for work, I wish the back pockets we longer.
