Printed quilted puffer vest

I don’t own any other vest but this one! For reference I am 5’2”, 120lbs, 34B and wear a size 2 for J Crew tips. I ordered the XS and it’s perfect! After reading some of the reviews I decided to size down and I’m glad I did. It’s snug, but not tight, and it has just enough stretch to wear a couple layers without feeling stuffed. The herringbone print goes with so many other prints! And I like that this is not a quilted vest, but a printed puffer vest. It’s so much easier to clean.

I'm glad I purchased this and I cannot wait to wear it when it gets colder. It runs a little big. I normally order small for comfortable fitting and xmall for fitted tops so for winter outfit like a puffy vest, I would normally go for small. Had to return and exchange for xmall so I don't look like I'm lost or swimming in it. Love the gray with black pipping. Can be dressed up with black slacks or down with jeans and riding boots. Good quality as well. Love it!

Obviously, I didn't read the description. I thought the material would be wool-like. Instead it was a slick material. It would be far more stylish if the material were changed. If I would have bought this at full price, I would have returned it, but since it was on sale, I can overlook. Just be forewarned, its the texture of a puffy coat, not actual plaid shirt fabric.

I bought two, the black and cream and the solid cream. I love the look and feel of both. Great second layer or just as a topper in the spring.

Am obsessed w/J.Crew Vests....so pretty, warm & I get compliments

This is the first J.Crew purchase that I was really disappointed in. I read the reviews and hoped for the best, as it seemed most people didn't like the 2015 version and they were changing it back to the original. I was fine with it being printed on the puffer material (although a true cotton or tweed would be better) but the colors were so muddied! There is hardly any contrast between the black and the "white". The white is more of a yellow cream. I wish I could've returned this, but it's a final sale. Definitely not even worth the clearance price.
