Laughably Oversized
May 17, 2019I would love to be able to recommend these pants. The fabric is thick and very nice in person, which is sometimes hard to find with chinos. But, due to J. Crew's (continued) vanity sizing, I had to take them to the tailor to be completely remade so that I could actually wear them. My tailor even inspected the tag to make sure I didn't order the wrong size because of how large they were on. If you can size down accordingly, these are great for the price. However, if you are on the slender side and don't feel like getting these pants reconstructed, they probably aren't for you. Seriously, J. Crew, please quit with the ridiculous vanity sizing!!!

Great spring pants
March 14, 2019I purchased these in red. They are a really nice quality and fit well. The red might seem like something you wouldn't wear often. But it works almost as a neutral for me. I wear it with seersucker, white, black, chambray / denim. It's very versatile.

Nice fitting pants
February 12, 2019I bought a red pair and am very pleased with the fit, quality and color. I'm really short; I needed to hem about 4 inches off to fit with flats. I cheat with hem tape (iron on) and it worked really nicely with this material.

Great quality, but not for 5’1” or under
January 30, 2019These pants are good quality and fit nicely, except for the length. This is my 2nd pair (unknowingly the same style). I purchased my current size 6 the first time and agree they run a tad large. The 4 was more snug, but not as snug as my other 4 pants. The legs are pretty roomy. The issue for me is the length. I’m 5’1” and, although I purchased “short”, they’re at least 2.5” too long and can’t be worn unless hemmed. Not a big deal for some, but my alterations sit in my closet for weeks...Maybe it’s in the product details that I missed.

Nice shape
January 14, 2019The fabric and shape of these pants were perfect for me as I want something to hold in the jiggles as I get older and am not in as great a shape as I used to be. I took a star off b/c the knees do bag quite a bit.

Way too long
October 23, 2018I ordered a regular. The pants were slightly too big, but incredibly long by several inches. I used the true to fit scale, too, which determined this size. Oh well! Quality seemed good.
