Horrible Quality Fabric - Color Loss
September 8, 2018I never got the chance to wear the skirt - when I pulled it out of my closet to wear the other day, I noticed some tiny rust colored spots on it. I took it to the dry cleaner and they said that these spots could not be gotten rid of because they were due to color loss in the fabric, not staining. This is absolutely unacceptable - this is a new item, and the fabric quality is so poor that I never got the chance to wear it. I like J. Crew's style, but I will really hesitate to shop here in the future due to the poor quality.

Adorable but Runs Large
August 20, 2018This is such an adorable pencil skirt for work, and the colors are so nice in person. I ordered the kelly green and couldn’t wait to wear it... until I tried it on :/ J. Crew vanity sizing strikes again. I have purchased 4 or 5 of the Factory double-serge pencil skirts in size 00, and they all fit wonderfully. However, this one runs a good 2 sizes too large. I suppose that’s what I get for ordering online, but still a bummer. If you can find the right size, it’s a great work piece!

Finally!!
August 15, 2018Finally! That’s all I have to say about finding this pencil skirt! I have wide hips and a large rear but a small waist and let me just tell you how hard it is to find work-appropriate pencil skirts without going up a size (or 2!) and beltong it with bunching at the waist....ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE! This skirt fixes that and I plan on ordering at least 2 more colors. I am typically a small or 6 in J Crew dresses and skirts and this one is true to that sizing. So happy to find this beautiful, comfy skirt with the high quality I’ve come to expect out of this brand. I will champion this skirt forever now!
