3" boardwalk pull-on short

Love these shorts, so easy to pull on and go. Fabric is quality material, not cheap but cool. Love the style, works well with tucking in tops. Highly recommend, would purchase in more colors if they were available!

The quality of these shorts are great. The fabric is a bit thicker so they don't look sloppy. The problem is the fit on my frame. First, they run big. I'm 5ft 4in 118 lbs and ordered the small. I could of ordered an extra small and been fine. (They would have been more on the fitted side). These just fit me very odd. The waist was too high and the length on the legs were long. I walked out in them and my husband said he thinks his gma has the same pair. I quickly returned these. Just didn't work for me.

They look and feel expensive! I've been wanting a pair of nice navy shorts and couldn't be happier with me purchase! Super comfortable! 5'3" 116 lbs, I ordered a 2 and they fit perfect!

It was a warm July afternoon when I tried on the 3" boardwalk pull-on short in vibrant flame. After sliding them on my petite frame, I realized I couldn't live without these fabulous shorts. I look them off and hastened to the register with a credit card, and 10 other items, in hand. To me, these shorts were special, not only because they were comfortable, but because you could dress them town with a tank for a baseball game or dress them up with a blouse and heels for a drink. I wore them thrice before placing them in the wash. After an hour and a half of waiting, I heard the beeping of the dryer. Not only did this mean I my soiled clothes were now clean, but that I could wear my new favorite shorts. As I pulled them on, I knew my luck had ended as soon as it came. I ran to the mirror and saw the horror, the terror. The hem came loose, there was no lining to keep hold them hem together. As the hem became torn, so did I. I had no choice but to toss them </3.

I purchased three pairs of these shorts, and I was disappointed in the quality of all three. The hem stitch at the leg openings was extremely weak. One of the pairs was not stitched at all at the leg openings, and the other two were very weak stitches that either came out during the first time being worn or during the the first wash.

I love these shorts and bought them in several colors. Two of the pairs, after only a few washes, had the hem fall out. On one of those pairs, the side seam just opened. And the shorts were not tight - the seam was not strained. I understand that this is the factory store but JCrew's quality has gone down so, so far in the past 5 years. It is disappointing.
