City coat

J crew what are you thinking?? This seasons city coat is an absolute joke. Sending back ASAP

This coat started pilling almost immediately - I've had it since November and it already looks ratty and old. I'm very disappointed because I had been planning on using it for years (it's super cute, and the slightly boxy style makes layering underneath no problem), but due to the very poor quality I'm pretty sure I'll have no choice but to retire it after this year. Waste of money.

This is a very cute coat but the wool is very cheap, it started pilling within the first week of wear. The zipper is also low quality, not like the double cloth coats from JCrew that I have. I'm keeping it because it was on sale and I had a hard time finding a size 16 coat for work. But I have to admit, I was disappointed with the quality of this JCrew Factory coat.

I wish I had listened to the other reviews. This jacket (it should not in good conscience be called a coat) is very thin and cannot be worn in any type of actual winter scenario. Also the colors are way off (by the way this is not the only time I have been misled by JCrew Factory online regarding the color of an item). Too bad it's final sale so now I'm stuck with the purchase. I will not be ordering from you again.

Purchased as a gift for daughter in college. Perfect fit and loved the color for a nice change of pace in the winter months. Very versatile style as well.

The coat is very well made, has great tailoring and nice fabric, but the fit is weird. I ordered a size 20 and received a size 2! Customer Service promptly mailed me the correct size. I was very disappointed that the sleeves were too long and very wide. I then ordered a size 18 and it had the same issue with the sleeves--no difference from size 20. I didn't feel the cost of more than basic alterations was worth the expense, so both coats were returned. This coat order was not a pleasant experience.
