Dot-dash blouse

Really liked the style and fit of this top. I usually love sheer tops, but this was way too see through. I tried with a nude cami but it still doesn't work. Sadly this will be going to goodwill.

I was drowning in the size medium, and it was completely sheer. I would have had to purchase a special cami to go under it. So I returned it and bought a different styled blouse in black - size small.

I have this shirt in 3 colors--I began with a maroon but have added a lilac and white to my collection. They're very chic with suiting for work--as a young attorney I feel stylish but professional when I wear these shirts. The details are subtle enough to not be loud but are still playful. The shirt is billowy so it does need to be paired with a jacket or be tucked in--this is great because if I take my jacket/blazer off at work I'm still fully covered and it doesn't cling to me. It's youthful and fun but still totally work appropriate--which is a tough balance to meet. The shirt is a bit see through so a tank top underneath isn't optional (unless you're going for a more scandalous look).

First of all, the sizing on this shirt is a little wild. I usually expect to size down in Factory items, so I usually wear an XS, but besides the armpit holes being a bit snug, the XXS fits me perfectly. I think the top is cute with a tank top under it for weekends or a night out, but it is definitely too sheer for me to wear to work. And I wouldn't call the light grey color an actual grey. Because it's so sheer, it definitely just looks slightly off-white.

I absolutely love this shirt - the pretty dark green color, the texture, the fit - but it is entirely see-through. You can see the underwire on my bra type of see-through. I don't mind a little sheerness in these blouses but this cannot be worn out of the house! I was sad to have to return it!
