Classic cable sweater

I bought this on sale in my usual top size at jcrew, and was not disappointed! It does stretch out with wear, but if you hand wash it, this sweater stays beautiful. It isn't too itchy and has a flattering silhouette - not too bulky.

The style and the color of this sweater was beautiful. However, the quality was lacking. After the first wear the entire front of the sweater was filled with pills, very disappointing. Loved the fit. Most of the J.Crew sizes run slightly large. I ordered a small and it was very close to a true size small instead of being slightly larger as usual. Loved the fit.

Just got it today. I like it. It's a classic that should match just about anything. It is soft as other reviews mention. I just hope it doesn't pill too much. I'm always between an XS and a S. I ordered XS. It fits just right. Not at all tight.

I love the color, weight and styling of this sweater. It does run large; I'm consistently an xs at JCrew and was surprised that the xxs was necessary for this. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of a full 5 stars is because I have not washed it yet, so don't know how it washes. I have, however, already purchased two of these in the same tan color because it goes with everything and I'm afraid that one will wear out!

I like this sweater. It's very soft and warm. At the same time, It doesn't require dry cleaning.

I tried this shirt on with a few tops underneath before wearing out, but realized that the piling/shedding was excessive no matter what I paired it with. I think maybe it's typical with these types of sweaters, but I just didn't really like it. It looked worn without me really even "wearing" it. I returned. I guess if you wanted to pack a lent roller with you or groom the sweater after each wear, you would like it.
