Embellished sheath dress

The dress is lovely. The embellishing around the neck is classy. Unfortunately the dress has been hanging in my closet and there it will stay. I read the reviews and so I sized up. I am usually a 6 so I went with the 8. I should have sized up to a 10! The dress runs super small. It is pretty snug and I purchased as a final sale. Lesson learned. I will not be purchasing final sale items unless I am 100% sure of the fit going forward. It was a waste of money.

I'm a 0P and I bought this in 00 and it felt a size larger (my dimensions are 32" x 25" x 34.5"). The waist has no definition, and the material is very stiff, so instead of draping it just hangs while maintaining its shape. Also, when I sit down it looks as though I'm pregnant since the material is so stiff that it bunches outward. I have better luck with J.Crew shift dresses that have tailoring on the back to add some more definition to the waist area. Other than that, it's very cute and perfect for summer if you can make this work for your body.

I got the 6 in this. I'm 5'6, around 130lbs and I usually order a 4 or 6 in Factory, but this is just huge on me. Going to order a 4 and see if that helps. Otherwise the dress and beautiful and the quality if definitely worth the price. If you're between sizes just size down and you should be okay.
