Heathered daybreak dress

I wore this dress once, thank goodness I was able to enjoy the experience because I can never wear this dress again. The dress, like another mentioned, shrunk to a size where I cannot wear it again, despite the dress' elastic quality. I followed the washing instructions to a T, but still found the dress to shrink even though I let the dress air dry. I'm sorely disappointed by this product, as I had other Daybreak dresses that have lasted through 12+ washes and wears. I hope either J.Crew Factory could refund me or allow store credit for this purchase.

Love the dark navy color, a nice change from wearing black. Like the fabric, weight, and pockets. Will travel well and thick enough to feel significant but not heavy. Only change would be about an inch longer in length (preferably in the torso area). It is toeing the line for work appropriateness in length. Medium feels true to size (5'5", 145lbs).

I completely agree with the other review. I bought this dress and loved it! I wore it with a cute cardigan to work and a fun necklace and I thought it would be a new staple in my wardrobe. I followed the exact directions when I washed it and it shrunk at least 2". Now I can't even wear it. I have long legs and the 2" made it go from appropriate to inappropriate for work. I am really disappointed. I even bought it at full price :-( I would not recommend.

This dress is very high quality and very versatile! It does run big though so I would recommend ordering a size down. Overall very happy with this purchase.

I bought this as it was the perfect length to wear to work with a cardigan or a blazer. I wore it once and was head over heels with everything about it, I then washed it according to directions and laid it flat to dry as specified. The dress shrunk two inches from one wear to the second, which were only 2 weeks apart and as I did not get any larger I assume it was due to the material of the dress. It is now not an appropriate length to wear to work and the waist is also oddly high and unflattering. Don't buy it if you hope to wear more than once.
