Short-sleeve eyelet dress

I'm 5'2" and usually order petite sizing in everything except dresses because the torso area usually runs too short for me as I'm long-waisted. Given past experiences with dress fittings with J Crew Factory I purchased a 00 in regular sizing because the non-petite sizes run a little bigger. I couldn't believe how huge it was on me when I tried it on (my measurements are 32-25-34)! For the first time ever the torso area was really long--the chest area was an inch or two below my actually chest. The dress was baggy all around. I felt like I was wearing a potato sack. However, I did think the quality of the dress was good, but I'm severely disappointed with the sizing. If you order this dress, size down a couple of sizes.

Super-cute dress! I bought it in both peach and white. It fits well and is machine-washable, which is a major plus. I gave this four stars instead of five only because the dress sort of rises up when I raise my hands up, due to the way the cap sleeves are designed. It could be that I am just not used to that style. Also, I would have loved to have purchased this dress in a tall size. Being 5'9", the waist is a little high on me, making the dress a little short. (Hint: More tall sizes in Factory styles, please!) The peach color is just lovely, and the white pairs nicely with a light blue sweater.

This dress looked so cute in the pictures - don't let it deceive you!! The dress is wide and bulky, not at all what is pictured. I typically wear a size 4, I'm 5'6'' and 130 lbs and the dress was hanging off of me. The shoulders are cut weird, almost like a horizontal line that goes in by the armpit and the waistline is not at all flattering. I was incredibly disappointed with this purchase and returned it immediately.
