Runs large
August 13, 2020I usually order a size up in the crewcuts. I have been ordering size 10 in the tee shirts for my almost 8 year old. This seems to work well, but not with this dress. It is very cute but definitly runs true to size if not a little large. It is long, so it somewhat resembles more of a midi. I think it would be cuter, shorter. I just ordered a second color a size down. Overall, it is cute and comfortable and easy. My daughter likes it.

Great dress
July 25, 2020I purchased two of these, one in a size 7 and one in a size 6, for my daughters ages 5 and 7. They fall just above the knee on both of them and offer plenty of room to move in, I would call it a tailored but loose fit. My 7 year old is average height and weight and my 5 year old is in the upper 25% for both height and weight. The pocket is just big enough to hold a small toy, note, or a seashell. They both wear tumble shorts under them but could easily wear leggings in fall to extend the use. I'm hoping for more colors, as they love this dress.
