Girls' striped sateen dress

I bought this dress for my slim but average height 12 year old. She loves it and thinks the style and stripes are more grown up than a frilly dress with tulle and a bunch of bedazzling. The dress is flat out striking on her--just super sharp and flattering. I have been shopping crewcuts (regular and factory) for my kids for years and I honestly don't know what people are complaining about with this dress. I think the quality is fine and the styling is great. The sateen is radiant (but of course will wrinkle). Somehow, JCrew manages to please all ages in the crewcuts age range. I haven't laundered so I cannot comment on the color bleeding (which will upset me, if it happens). I would say the 12 is slightly shorter than we'd like and slightly wider but otherwise, a home run.

i was very happy to purchase the dress because in the pictures looks so cute. when i received it, it had a hole on the back of the dress, also the material is so thin. not happy about this purchase at all.

Online the dress looks gorgeous, similar to tons of dresses I bought for my daughter since she was 4, from factory and main stores. When I receive it, it looks very badly made. Material was thin. Worst part of all was that the colour run. Extremely bad experience... Common Jcrew...if it is going to end up this bad, you shouldn't have made the dress at all :( Now need to get another dress for new year....

I bought size 5 for my 4 years old niece. But it's way too small. I think it will only fit 2-3 age babies. Besides, not in a very good quality. And I can't return or exchange it because it's final sale. Not a very good experience.
