Girls' long-sleeve Fair Isle sweater in extra-soft yarn

While the sweater is a lovely color, I have to say that it runs quite short and small. I bought sweaters for my tall lanky 11 year old daughter and her tall and lanky twin brother. I bought both in an xl. His were nice and long, and I can see him getting at least one or two years wear from them. Hers? So tiny! Like, think, hitting at the waist, 1950’s style angora sweater tiny. I’m afraid to wash either as if they shrink one inch, they’ll be way too small. I get that girls are more petite but, JCrew, could you at least make the length of the sweaters and sleeves the same as the boys?
