Skimping on yardage ruins promise
November 12, 2019I really like the fabric, as it is crisp and tightly woven with the right heft, strongly resisting wrinkles. The construction is quite good enough for chinos, especially at this price point. There are nice little details like the coin pocket in the right front pocket. BUT everything between the waistband and the hem could benefit from another inch or so of ease widthwise. They allow movement without much restriction on first wear, even if there is little ballroom, but I wouldn't be comfortable with any sudden motions and I can't imagine using the pockets to carry much of anything. I suspect these will shrink beyond usability within a half dozen washings. Another inch or so of width and I'd be a big fan.

More of a straight cut than an athletic fit
June 13, 2019While there is room in the thighs, there is almost no taper below the knee and so I would think of this as more of a classic straight cut than an athletic cut. It is a nice sturdy fabric, but just not very stylish

July 28, 2018I ordered a 38 x 32, and the length is much longer then 32, I had to take the pants to a tailor and spend more money to get the pants to the correct length,
