Slim linen shirt

I have another of the same shirt (different color) in the same size and fit so I was comfortable ordering this online. Unfortunately, there is no way this shirt is a slim fit. Doesn't fit at all and looks like a parachute. Really bummed because it was final sale but I believe this shirt is not fit properly to the size it's labeled as. Have had many good experiences but this will make me think twice before ordering online again or buying something that is Final Sale because the sizes are skewed.

I've always struggled to find linen shirts that fit, because they're usually over-sized intentionally. So when I saw these slim-fit versions, I figured there was a good chance they wouldn't be. I was right, because they fit great and I'm really loving it.

I don't understand the trend to make shirts with extremely long sleeves. I like the style of this shirt a lot. Unfortunately, I don't know if I'll be keeping it. Despite ordering a small in the slim fit, the shirts sleeves look like they were designed for somebody well over six feet tall. I'm about 5'10'', and the sleeves go past my knuckles. I really doubt I would be comfortable in an extra small, but I look like a little kid trying on his dad's shirt when I try this thing on. Now I have to decide if it's worth keeping something that I can only wear with the sleeves rolled up, or if it's worth it to have a shirt this inexpensive get tailored so that it's wearable. Very frustrating.

Color combination of this shirt was lighter than its photo. It was a bit smaller than J.Crews standard slim fit shirt. If it was not linen, it could be alright. It was one of very few J. Crew items that I returned.

This is a great shirt for warm weather. I has a beautiful hand, very smooth to the touch even though it is slightly slubby. The white and dark blue slubs make the light blue color a little more interesting without overwhelming it and making it too gaudy. It has a strong pinpoint weave that seems more durable than some of the other linen shirts in my closet, but is still open enough to be breathable in the humid summer air. I have only had it a few weeks, and it is already my favorite linen shirt!

Awesome shirt! A little see thru, but overall great. Actual fit, but the length is a little short, but ok since we aren't planning on tucking it in.
