A Cozy Soft Midweight Classic Fleece Cardigan
January 11, 2025I bought the J Crew 14 oz heritage fleece cardigan sweatshirt last year but was unhappy with the lack of comfort & the weird oversized ill-fit so was pleased that JCF releaed their own version which turns out to be more comfortable, better fitting, and less expensive. I would definitely recommend this true to size fleece cardigan which has soft 60% cotton/40% polyester fabric which is much more comfortable than the stiffer 84% cotton/16% poly fabric of the 14 oz heritage fleece cardigan of the regular J Crew brand. I purchased a medium & large to try on for fit and the Large size fit me better. I am 5 ft 8", weigh 200 lbs, and wear size 42R suit jackets. The measurements of the cardigans I received are as follows: Size Medium Shoulder width (shoulder seam to seam): 18.5"; Chest width (pit to pit): 22.5"; Waist width at level of second button from top with all buttons closed: 21.5"; Bottom hem width: 19"; Length (top of center back collar to bottom hem): 28"; Sleeve length (shoulder seam to sleeve cuff): 26" Size Large Shoulder width: 19.5"; Chest width: 24"; Waist width at level of second button from top with all buttons closed: 23"; Bottom hem width: 21"; Length: 29"; Sleeve length: 26.5"
