New Balance® for J.Crew scalloped performance sports bra

This is such a cute sports bra and I want to like it. However, the padding is thick in my opinion and very uncomfortable. Not great quality in the material.

I have many sports bras over the years. I purchased this because it's not your typical sports bra that flattens your chest, which makes it uncomfortable. This bra is very comfortable and provides great support for someone like me who is a C cup and training for a 10k. I'm purchasing another one, but too bad there's only one color available.

So i decided to ignore the reviews and get it on a whim. I'm so glad i did! Its so comfortable, hold my chest in place, and the scallop details are so flattering. maybe it isn't that comfy for bigger chested ladies... maybe thats why it got poor reviews. but for reference, I'm a 32c, and a small fits perfect. straps are adjustable if you need to readjust it. beyond perfect. wish they had more colors so i could order more!!

I am a 34C and bought a M. There was no stretch/give at all in the material of the sports bra, so it was hard to get on and over my head. However, even though it was tight fit getting it on, there is about 1inch of extra band material. So the sports bra is too large except that the cups fit snuggly over my breasts, but it's not giving me any support underneath. The design is very cute and the quality of the sports bra material seems very nice. It just doesn't fit properly.

The scalloping detail on the bottom is really nice and feminine. I also like that there are cups embedded into the bra vs. removable pads. The only thing that makes this piece a deal breaker is that the strap adjuster is this clear plastic that completely digs into your skin. That ruined everything :(

This sports bra is so cute! Unfortunately, very uncomfortable, stiff and quality of the material is poor.
