Light indigo shirt-dress

BUY THIS DRESS! I get many compliments every time I wear this dress. Dress is well made using a thicker material and you can pull this off all year long no matter how hot or cold it is outside, it's very versatile! I'm 5'2 120lbs and usually wear XS or 0-2, but XXS fit just right because it's cut wide and meant to be a little loose.

Love the material, very soft and good quality. The dress runs, I would go down a size.

Very cute shirt dress. The fabric is reminiscent of both chambray and Tencel. The weight of the fabric is quite good also. If you're curvy, it fits close to the hips/booty because of its straight cut. It is definitely loose at the waist if you're curvy. I still like the fit however. It is typically JCREW vanity sizing. I ordered a small. The sleeves were a tad short however. The slits on the side make it seem shorter/more revealing. Overall it's cute and worth the sale price.

I ordered this dress because of all the great reviews, and it definitely lived up to them in a lot of ways. The only downfall is the length for me. It's one of those dresses that fits perfectly with your arms at your sides, and then because of the more rigid construction, the moment you raise your arms above your head the dress comes up and reveals your undies! I am 5'10'', so I think this would only be a problem for tall ladies like me... however I am going to get around it by wearing it in the fall with some tights and booties and that should solve the problem. I just don't feel comfortable wearing it to work with the potential of flashing people :)

I'd been looking for a fun easy dress that was still light enough for a humid summer; guys, I found it. I was skeptical with some of the reviews. But this is just such a cool piece. Dress it up, dress it down. And I'm pretty sure I can make it work in the fall. I'm 5'8" and a bit of a pear. Ordered a medium. It's meant to be a looser fit and I think it looks cool even without a belt! But super cute with it too. Done. Bought it. Love it.

Frequent Jcrew shopper here - and I LOVE THIS DRESS! This dress is probably my very favorite thing I have ever ordered from either a factory or a regular store.....it is AWESOME! It fits great - I am a size 6 or 8 in the pencil skirts and a S/M in tops, 140lbs, 5'1, 36D, and I ordered the dress in a size S. It really fits great, not too tight, and sits so cute right above my knee. I wore it to work (at an insurance company and a casual Friday!) and then out downtown for a Friday concert - great and cute option for both! I bought a size S because I wanted the dress to fit a little smaller, not tight or anything, but where it actually "fits" and isn't too baggy - a size S was PERFECT fit for this! LOVE THIS DRESS!!!!!!!!
