Windowpane tweed dress

I do not typically have good luck with Factory dresses. They are usually too short on me and are sent back. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this on. Office appropriate length and an overall good fit on me. It's a heavy enough material that I don't think a slip is needed. The windowpane print is a nice size. I hate when you order something online and the print looks cheap in person. This is a keeper. For reference I am 5'8" 140 lbs hourglass shape, so this cut works great for my figure. I did size up from my usual 0 to a 2. I'm breastfeeding so that area is a bit larger than usual but I wouldn't say bust runs small like some other reviewers noted.

The dress fits up top and flares in all the right places to flatter. The window pane print makes it versatile for daytime or work, and can spruced up for an after work gathering during the week. The fit was tighter by an inch than other JCrew dresses, but the drape of the cut is great. I'm 5'6" and weigh 120lbs with a C cup, and the size 4 is perfect. Order up a size if your not sure. I've worn this several times paired with red pumps and always get compliments.

This is a really cute and very flattering dress and I love it. HOWEVER--I am a pear shape and have a relatively small chest. I tried this on while I was wearing a sports bra and it was already tight across the chest. If you have a medium to large sized bust, stay away from this dress! Otherwise, it's super flattering in the waist. It does have a full skirt, so if you don't like full skirts, this isn't the dress for you.

What a perfect work dress! Love this for warmer weather. Classic color, cut & style. Nice material, substantial. Very flattering. My usual size 4 is a perfect fit (5'4", 124lbs). I oredered some yellow suede heels to wear with this dress & it makes a great outfit. Very pleased with this dress!

This dress looks really cute online and on the hanger. It even looks okay on. However, it runs super small and is pretty long. I'm 5'10" and it comes below the knee so heels are a must. The material is also very stiff and not forgiving. I wish I could make it work, but the cons outweigh the pros, so I will be returning it.
