Ruffle-hem tank top

Bought this online as a clearance item and got an amazing deal, so I wasn't too worried if it didn't fit perfectly. I am typically an XS in tops like these and a S in cardigans. I think their sizes do run a little big. I'm 5'6' and on the thin side (usually wear a 00 or 0 in their dresses). This top is a just little "baggy" on me but is still a great piece. Made of quality material and the ruffle hem is so adorable! I paired it with a cute (JCrew) cardigan over the shoulders and white pants for work. Highly recommend!

To preface this review, I have worn J. Crew for 20+ years. In most J. Crew top styles I wear an XL. So, when I say this really cute sleeveless top with a flutter hem, I was on it! Sadly, when the item showed up, it was tight through the chest and waist and the only loose area was the flutter hem.....and not in a good way I have returned it..... and am sad.

I love this top! I got my normal XS and it fits perfectly. Fitted in the chest and then flows out a little and the peplum hits in the right spot. Looks much more expensive than it is and will be great for summer. I didn't think it was too baggy as others stated.

Great summer top. Top of the shirt is a thicker fabric which makes it easy to dress up or down. The bottom ruffle hem is a flowy silky fabric. The hem fell perfectly on me and I didn't feel it excentuated my hips at all. I am 5'5". It does however run VERY large. I usually order a M or S, 8 or 6. I took an XS in this top because i prefer a fitted look. If you buy too large it may end up looking boxy.

I absolutely love this top. I was a little hesitant to order it just because people were saying that the peplum would lay weird or hit at a weird spot on your hips, but it fits perfect! It does fit a little loose but that's how I like my shirts to fit, especially for work. For reference: I'm 5'3'', 130lbs, and am a 34B. I ordered a medium in the black.

This is a super cute tank that will go the distance during warm weather. The ruffle detail adds just the right touch. I'm impressed by the fabric quality too. I know this will be one of my favorite tanks this summer!
