Lace tee

Lining was longer than the lace. Weird fit, not a fan. Narrow in the shoulder for my athletic build.

This top is great for infrequent wear. It's delicate and even when being hand-washed and hung, it looks different than when it was brand new. Top also is very easy to snag so watch how much jewelry you wear with it! The "champagne" color is definitely more cream than white colored. Looks great with a suit jacket!

My experience was just like all the other one star reviews from the second half of 2018 or later (which you can find J Crew has burried at the bottom of this page): I wore it once, and then followed the washing instructions on the label *exactly*, and the whole thing was destroyed beyond repair. The reviewers who did not have this problem likely purchased an earlier version with the J Crew label, not the current version with the Mercantile label. I have a second one in another color that I have not worn yet, and based on the reviews, I expect it will fall apart from wearing even if I get it dry cleaned. The one I wore did catch on my jewelry, so I can expect more of that too. Total waste. It really did look great, for half a day.

Wore this with my plaid holiday skirt and paired it with a pretty velvet pair of pants. Versatile piece!

Loved this shirt and it was perfect with chinos for work, without looking too dressy when wearing it with a casual outfit. Care instructions say it is machine washable, but after washing it on delicate/cold (with it flipped inside out and placed in a delicates bag), the outer lace part shrunk significantly so that the inner lining part of the shirt now is noticeably sticking out and the shirt is no longer wearable. Additionally the lace was damaged so unfortunately this is now going in the trash. It was my favorite shirt for 3 weeks while it lasted though! Probably going to try to buy another and just make sure not to machine wash it. I bought a size 2 in black and it fit true to size (5’5”/120 lbs).

I love lace and this top gives a dressier feel to a basic black top. Good for work or going out. At first the fit looked boxy out of the packaging but after trying it on, it fit perfectly. For reference I am 107lbs and bought size 00.
