Velvet tee

It's a cute, simple top. The length and fit makes it perfect for work or more conservative outfits. Goes great with a statement necklace. The only negative is that it has no stretch at all, but it's a velvet shirt so it's sort of expected. It's roomy, but fits perfect on my shoulders. However, that means there's not extra room on the shoulders to move.

I bought this only because it was on sale and wanted to try velvet clothing. I bought this with the pants. The red is a faded red, not vibrant like the picture. I typically wear medium in jcrew shirts, but from the reviews I ordered down and got the small. I wish I had gotten the medium. Putting it over my head was a bit tight. There is no stretch to this, which would have made this easier to put on/take off. I do like that it's lined. It is comfortable and roomy/slightly boxy around the middle, but not unflattering. Maybe if I had gotten the medium it might have looked too big around the mid-area.

I was in love with this top when I received it in mail.Such a nice and classy material and on such great sale price.But the fitting of the top is so odd.I wear an xxs in jcrew,but this xxs runs so large.The sleeves are ok but the top is so loose from the back.Just so weired fitting.I wanted to keep it as a staple black velvet top but I am so sorry would be returning it because of the fitting.

Perfect with black pants or jeans tucked in the front. Very elegant looking.

I love Jcrew Factory. But this fell short of my expectations of this shirt. Color is not red its more if a pink and its so short.

I ordered a medium in coral rose (final sale online, so I was a bit nervous about my purchase) and I was delighted with the color! The fit was boxier than I'd anticipated, but the overall effect with skinny pants is really nice. I have worn it twice; once with jeans and once with pants and I got compliments both times.
