Printed scalloped sidewalk skirt

I ordered the black/white buffalo plaid skirt as a versatile fun skirt to dress up or dress down. The fit is absolutely perfect, I was a little hesitant to order a 0, as I'm typically a 0/2, but the size guides suggested a 0 and I'm glad as it fits great. I am 5'3" about 125lbs. and typically wear 0/2. The length is perfect, too.

I love the fit and overall look of this skirt. It is so comfortable and perfect for work. I don't love this ikat print and will be purchasing other sidewalk skirts in solids.

Thick fabric which is good for late summer early fall. I just wish it had pockets. I wear it as a high waisted skirt. I wish it were jus skosh smaller to be more fitted in the waist.

I somehow didn't realize this skirt had a scalloped hem when I ordered it. Knowing that linen is a fabric that looks for reasons to fray, I had concerns about long-term life of all of those extra cuts and turns and angles added to the hem due to the scalloping. Sure enough, one wash and flat dry later, there at least two corners on the edges of the scalloping that are already open and fraying-- and naturally, they're on the front of the skirt. I purchased it final sale though-- so, joke's on me. Oh, and it runs large. I'm a 12 in J. crew pencil skirts and this thing is absolutely floppy in that size. Wouldn't try this style again.

Picked this skirt up on sale, and I am so glad that I did! It's great to mix in with casual summer clothes and work wear. I almost bought another color because I thought this pattern would be weird for work, but it goes well with nearly every color, including orange since it's in the pattern! I get compliments on the pattern all the time. The only problem I have with this skirt is that it rides up a bit because of the stretchy waistband, and if I'm sitting down it will wrinkle. Small problems for a great work skirt!

this is my 3rd skirt, and I love them all. Fit is perfect and length is perfect!!!!
