January 19, 2019I bought the brown, thinking a size 10 would fit giving that it's an A-line skirt. I am curvy though so it's very tight. I can wear the size 10 pants or even 10P since I'm short. I bought it as final sale and I will keep it as motivation, I guess, but for now, I can't walk while wearing it.

January 9, 2019Purchased this skirt for my granddaughter for Christmas and she just loves it. She wears either a 2 or 4 and the 4 is slightly big on her so it may actually be true to size. Rather than send it back, she got it altered. Nicely made and quality is great. Love the ruffle on the side of the skirt. Good purchase!

Agree with Other Reviewer - Runs Large
January 6, 2019After reading the other review about the skirt running large, I decided to purchase the camel skirt in a size 2 (as opposed to my usual size 4). I'm so glad I did - it fits perfectly! I've read that the other colors have different/inconsistent sizing issues, but if you are getting the camel skirt, I highly recommend going down a size. For reference I am aprx. 27 waist 38 hips.

Inconsistent sizing.
January 4, 2019I purchased my normal JCrew size 14 in Black. It fit great. I love how soft and warm it was. So I went and ordered another size 14 in "Blue Pond". It wasn't right straight out of the bag. There were big pieces of gray dust/lint on the wrinkled skirt - it looked like it had been dugged out from some corner. Then I tried it on and immediately wondered if I had gained 5 lbs. It was tight at the waist and thighs and looked fitted instead of A-Line. I compared it to the Black skirt and the blue skirt was 1/2" smaller in width - a full 1" if the seams were taken apart and the fabric was in 1 layer. Ugh!!! Final sale so I'm stuck?!
