Lightweight wool blazer

I had been wanting a navy blazer for a while and found this one at a great sale price. The blazer is lightweight, a classic cut, and fits true to size. I will wear this with everything from a striped t-shirt and jeans or capris to skirts and dresses for a more classic look. I also purchased the V-neck fitted dress with belt in both red and ivory from J Crew Factory, and they look fantastic under the navy blazer. Whether you need a suited look for a workplace, or just want something to create some casual, but pulled-together outfits, everyone should own a navy blazer since it is so versatile. I plan on picking up a black blazer in this same style the next time I see it at a low price.

While I didn't have any issues with the quality as some reviewers had, the cut is NOT for someone on the small side. I'm fairly petite and usually wear a 00 or 0 and am 5'2". This looked goofy on me, the proportions seemed really off. I returned it.

I bought this in gray in my normal size and it fits great; I don't see any needs for alterations which is nice. It is a sharp looking blazer that fits with many other pieces of my professional wardrobe. I have noticed the material is a little scratchy where my collar touches my neck, but nothing too bad that I wouldn't wear the jacket, but that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, it was a great purchase and I would consider buying in other colors as well.

I love the J Crew Blazers. They are well-constructed and designed to be true classics. Comfortable, yet stylish! Paired with the skirt, this suit walks me into the board room and all know that I am commanding the room!

I have few sets, mostly black but also grey and navy. I wear them to work every day. I like the modern sporty style.
