Chambray faux-wrap dress

I love this dress. It's cute and it's summery. I found the cap sleeves to be a bit annoying tho.

This was a lot cuter than I thought it would be. Honestly, when I received it I recognized right away this was a piece that would have to be ironed thoroughly every time it was worn. I decided it was cute enough to keep. It's really a nice light chambray material, but not cheap feeling. I am 5'6" and 135lbs, 36B, and I ended up with the size 4. I usually wear a 6 with JCREW Factory. It is a tad shorter than I would prefer, but I'm pretty conservative. The only down sides to this dress are that it does wrinkle easily and has to be ironed each wash (I wash on cold and hang dry) and if it is a windy day the flap of the skirt could make for a possible embarrassing moment. However, despite these two things, it is a fun and classic dress that will bring lot of compliments and would look great with both flats and heels.

I ordered a size 10, I'm 5'5" 145lbs. 36DD. The fit is good and is flattering although the neckline is a bit too low so I will need to wear a cami underneath to avoid excessive cleavage. Unfortunately, my dress has a horrible chemical odor. I washed it hoping the smell would wash away but it didn't. I called customer service- they were great- and Joceyln offered to send me another dress and to return the one I have free of shipping charges, and to notify whomever needs to know of the problem. I don't see any other reviews commenting on the odor, which is bad-every time I walked past the dress that is hanging on my BR door I get a whiff of it- so I am guessing that they might have switched factories for reorders.

By this dress. Just do it. I wore it for a special evening out and I felt stunning and got so many compliments. It fits like a glove but is comfortable and not at all restricting. It doesn't have much stretch, it's the perfect chambray material. I paired with classic black pumps and the match was made in heaven. You could dress this down for the office with a pair of cute flats and then switch out your shoes with a heel and totally be night time ready. Love love love this dress and love love love J. Crew.

Love this dress, the style and fit. I was afraid I would look big in it but the cut is very figure flattering. The only thing I wish was slightly different is that the skirt pieces were sewn together instead of just left overlapping because when the wind blows it opens the skirt up completely and if you’re not careful you’ll end up flashing people...other than this I see nothing wrong with this dress. Totally recommend!

I bought this dress for summer vacay. I have worn it in the parks at Disney World and I have also worn it to work. Received compliments each time. Very summery and light.
