Chambray faux-wrap dress

I bought this to wear to a pre-wedding party and ended up returning it. I got many compliments when I tried it on - it is super cute! - but when I sat down the fitted bodice area wouldn't stay against my body (bust area fabric popped out) and if I turned at all the dress didn't turn with me! I am not busty (full 34B), but do fill out the dress. A bigger bust seems like it wouldn't fit in this dress, but regardless of bust size, nobody wants bra in full view. This dress is patterned and cut poorly. It was a perfect fit in the bodice area when standing, but when I sat, the front of the bodice became loose and popped out forward while the back of the bodice became super tight (very uncomfortable!). The zipper did seem low-quality to me, too, as others have noted. I walked outside when trying on also and it was a breezy day to discover the skirt wouldn't stay covering me (NOT GOOD)! That was enough for me to (return it) and plan another outfit! (runs 1-2 sizes big)

The dress appearance is darling. The execution of the dress is not-- The zipper is a horror because it has a tiny handle making it difficult to pull up. The dress pattern makes it a further challenge because the zipper gets stuck, whether the dress is on or off, right before it goes up the back as if there is too much material bunched there and wants to derail off the "zipper path." Really not good. I love J Crew but I feel like the quality has gone down in the pattern making to use less fabric. Nothing fits exactly right anymore. I never returned items that I bought from J Crew in the past. I find that I return 50% of everything I order now. It is sad.

I ordered this because I saw it on a stranger and asked her where she got it. I debated asking but i loved it so much ! And I love it even more in person. Im so glad I stopped and asked her. Very comfortable. Perfect for the summer. I love love love this!!!

It fits like a dream and is super flattering. I usually wear a 12 but sized up since my chest is larger. I can wear it to work or on a date. It can be dressed up or down with the right accessories.

I love this dress! V-neck, wrap style silhouettes are flattering on my body type (5'4", 120 lb with shorter-to-medium length torso, 34C), so I like to stick with what works. I'm usually a 2 at J. Crew and this fit me true-to-size. I love the above-knee length for my height and the faux wrap of the skirt which stays in place regardless of movement and breezes. I wear it with summery wedges.

This dress is so flattering! It is lightweight so great for summer. I love that I can wear it to work with heels and also wear it with flip flops for a casual summer bbq. Wish they made it other colors!
