Embroidered chambray dress

Runs very large and boxy. Tried it in both xs and xxs, and neither of them worked out for me. I’m 5’4, 120 lbs, and while the xxs looked better on me in terms of width and length, it was too tight around the shoulders. The embroidery detail is cute, and the fabric is quality is ok. The color is a little darker than it appears in the photos. I thought of keeping the xs and just getting it altered, but in the end decided to return it due to the fact that the denim just didn’t feel breathable enough to wear in the summer.

As nice as this dress looks, it fits like a sack. I'm going to have to wear it at home.

This dress is cut way too boxy. My husband said it looked unflattering due to how wide the cut is. Unfortunately I purchased the XXS so I can't attempt sizing down. Such a shame, because the embroidery is super cute!
