V-neck sweater dress

Dress is just ok... can be belted and dressed up with a nice pair of boots

Love this dress - I’ve used this dress for holiday parties; travel days and work. It’s well made and comfortable. I wear a size 16W/18W and the XXL fit perfectly except for the sleeve length (way too long) but that's JCrew

This dress is so soft and comfortable! It will definitely become a staple. I only wish J.Crew had more colors. The dress is a bit large but not in an unflattering way. I could probably size down and the dress wouldn't be tight but I don't feel like paying for return shipping. The dress comes to the top of my kneecaps, just like in the picture. The sleeves come to my thumb joint if pulled straight but the cuff keeps them up on my wrist or forearm. For reference, I'm 5'2" and 115lbs with a 32A chest and bought an XS.

This dress looked like exactly what I've been searching for, so I was very excited to receive it! Unfortunately the dress both runs very large and very short. I'm 5'10" and 125 lbs, and I was swimming in the XS. I'm not sure how tall the model in the photo is, but if you're over 5'7" or so, I don't think this dress will be work-appropriate for you. If you're not very tall though, and don't mind the straight non-fitted style rather than a more fitted around the waist style, this probably is the dress for you! The burnt orange is beautiful, and the quality seemed nice. I wish that J. Crew offered more dress options for tall women--I always seem to be out of luck in that department!

I just got this today and I'm thrilled! I don't think I was expecting it to be so good! It fits perfectly (size small, I weigh 125 lbs, and I'm 5'4"). It hits just above my knees, its not body hugging but not too loose, the V is just right without having to wear something underneath, and the arms are just right! I agree with the other reviewer that it's a classic. I highly recommend this one!
