Good quality but frumpy looking on me
April 18, 2022I don't think this dress is good for short people. I think the quality of the material is great and that it looked great on the tall model in the photo I saw online. However, I'm short and it just looked very frumpy on me.

Perfect dress for wedding

Not flattering
December 10, 2021I thought this dress would flatter my pear shape as I bought another J. Crew Factory dress similar to this earlier this fall. However, it just seemed to fit in all the wrong places, even when I sized up. I did not want to go up another size because then the top would be too big. The color is very pretty, although the red definitely overpowers some of the purple in the fabric. I think this would be gorgeous on the right person (just not me). Lol Also, zipper is under the arm rather than down the back. Unusual, but much more convenient for zipping it up yourself.

great piece -- but runs large!
November 19, 2021this dress is great for year-round wear; the fabric is light but not sheer - definitely wearable as is in the spring/summer and with tights in the fall/winter. the fabric is true to the picture (not too bright in real life). the only thing to watch out for is the sizing - i had to go 1-2 sizes down from my usual sizing. for me, 1 size down was still about an inch too big all around, so i opted for 2 sizes down for a more snug fit.
