Comically large
October 29, 2021I really really wanted this dress! The quality seems great. The velvet fabric is really thick and the lining is really soft. I'm petite but larger on bottom, so I usually size up in dresses because they tend to ride up and can be way too short. I'm typically a size 6 in JCrew, so I got an 8... I was so sad when I tried it on, it looks like a pillowcase on my top. The sleeves go past my hands. The elastic on the arms and waist don't help at all. I think I honestly could have gone with a size 4. Not salvageable. Gave away.

Ill fitting
May 14, 2019Beautiful material. That’s the only thing going for it. The fit is awful and looks like a potato sack. No stretch in the fabric at all. I still have tags on and would return if I could.

Pink Velvet!!
February 18, 2019This is a beautiful dress! The color is a bit darker than the screen showed, more of a pinky-mauve than a bright guava, in my opinion, but it's very pretty. The velvet is 100% polyester and very nice quality. It says to dry clean only but I did wash it at home on gentle and hung to dry with no negative reaction. The fit is very flattering (I'm currently a size 14) and the dress is very comfortable. The lining is great and just right for comfort and function. The dress hit just above my knee and was perfect with tights.

Cute but not working
February 15, 2019The idea of this dress is great but it just doesn't work. I'm 5'4, 112 lbs and the 00 is still way too big to be flattering. The sleeves are weirdly wide, lots of fabric, and the wrists are NOT banded in. Three stars for pretty color and fabric. I got this on clearance so I can't return it :(

Huge sizing!
February 9, 2019Color was OK - darker than I’d prefer, but pretty true to photo online. Quality seems fine. But sizing is huge! My XS felt like an M in every direction: long and baggy sleeves, wide shoulders, boxy cut. Unwearable, and unfortunately unreturnable.
