January 31, 2017This dress is beautiful--absolutely gorgeous and the gold just makes the dress. It is darker in person, as other reviewers noted. The zipper is odd--I read reviews about problems with the zipper, and when I received the dress I zipped the zipper up and down with no problem. Then, when I put it on, I had the same trouble getting it up over the part that goes around the ribs. It went up after a few tries, and it unzipped with no problem. That's the only issue I have with this dress. Otherwise, it's pretty perfect.

January 2, 2017I bought this dress a little nervous because of other reviews regarding the zipper. I kept looking at it and finally just went for it because I loved the cut, color and pattern. I'M SO GLAD I DID! I have worn it twice during the holidays and received tons of compliments. The only thing is that the zipper is tough to get up and down - but if you have someone that can help you with that step, you're home free. I love this dress!

Beautiful but too big
December 29, 2016Material is beautiful with a nice weighty texture that provides feminine structure to the dress. However, the cut is a bit big and roomy. I'm a size 4 in most brands, but I find JC Crew runs bigger.. I should have ordered a size 2 (my JC Crew skirt size), but I went with my standard size for other brands, and I was off. Too much room in the hips and waist, so the dress floated away from my body too much, not a flattering silhouette. I'm 5'7", 137 lbs, 34B, 27" waist, and an athletic build

December 12, 2016Ok, I LOVE this dress in terms of style and print. It's a nice thick fabric which is good for cold weather and the colors are really pretty! Here's the problem, that nice thick fabric, combined with the flimsiest zipper ever make for a dress that doesn't zip. Even with this off it barely zipped so on it was nearly impossible. It was snug around my ribcage but it fit fine, the zipper just would not go up! My sister tried for 20 minutes and to no avail. I wanted it to work so badly but I'm returning it. Sad.
