Runs small!
November 19, 2018I am 5'5" 155 lbs and had to purchase a 12. I normally wear an 8 in Jcrew dresses. The material is a little thin but the purple color is gorgeous! I would recommend, but beware of sizing.

Very disappointed
November 2, 2018I ordered the iris color, it’s really more of a dusky burgundy, not at all like the color shown. The lining was rolling out at the neckline, poor construction. I didn’t even try it on, can’t tell about the fit because I sent it straight back over these issues.

Cute dress, considering...
November 1, 2018The dress is stylish and figure-flattering. I ordered in both colors, and each is lovely. However, the quality of the material is lower than I’d generally expect from the factory store. I followed the recommendation of other reviewers and ordered one size up. They fit well, though I don’t know how my normal size would have fit in this style. It certainly would be smaller, though perhaps not too small.

Not a genuine “JCrew” quality item
September 29, 2018I was looking so forward to liking this dress! I ordered my normal size 10 in JCrew clothes. When it arrived it fit more like a 6-8 and was too short. I’m 5’7”. The tag indicated that it was made by a different brand but sponsored by JCrew . Cheap material, off sizing but probably too much hassle to return. Beautiful color though. I ordered the purple. The quality doesn’t stand up to what I expect if JCrew or even if JCrew factory.
