Crepe short-sleeve dress

I love this dress, but the bust area is very large - maybe 2-3 inches too large. When I wear the dress, I bobby pin the top over, or use a brooch, to look more professional. Overall, the dress is great - perfect length, great fit in the waist, terrific color.

Not sure if it was the color or the style, but I received many, many compliments on this dress when I wore it to work the other day! The dress is very conservative, and very work appropriate, but I had several people - men and women - tell me how beautiful I looked in it. Really my only regret is that I likely can't wear it too often because it was so distinctive, and so commented on.

I love this dress and bought it in both colors as final sales because the dress is a perfect transitional dress. If you purchase, you may want to size down. I got it in a 2, and it kind of hangs on me. Great dress in style, but it does run large, at least for me.

I love this dress! It fits great and the material is stretchy, so I can wear it all day and be comfortable. The material is great; it's a pretty color (I got the green), and it doesn't wrinkle. It's flattering, feminine, and perfect for work or even (with different shoes or jewelry) for a night out or a wedding. Love this dress.

Bought this dress with high hopes for wearing it for graduation and interviews. The style of the dress is gorgeous and is very flattering! However, the material is awful...it's hard to describe. It's stiff and ridged. I wish I could wear it, but the fabric makes it itchy and uncomfortable. It definitely won't wrinkle, so I guess that's a positive. Wish JCrew would have chosen a better fabric for this classic LBD look.

I have been looking for a dress like this for some time. I am between sizes so I ordered up and it was a big mistake. I really could have used the smaller size. It was a final sale so now I am looking at getting it altered. Nevertheless, the quality of this dress is great and I know once I get it altered I will be getting very good use out of it!
