Origami sheath dress

This is a great fitting dress with a little structure and an interesting detail. It's just enough of a twist to have it not be the same old black dress, but subtle enough to be worn often and remain timeless. Very flattering fit.

When I pulled this dress out of the bag I was instantly disappointed..... I was expecting red... The dress is a tomato orange. The cut is nice with one exception, it cuts slightly into the armpit, so if you have any armpit chub it will be exposed. I am 5 feet 4 inches and 138lb athletic build. I purchased the size 4 which is a perfect fit. The cut also emphasizes the shoulders, so if you are like me and don't like looking like a lineman I wouldn't purchase. I cannot return, so I will be pairing this with a blazer of cardigan. For the price, it is a decent purchase.

This dress is so Blair Underwood from House of Cards with style. I'm looking forward to wearing this next week for a lunch meeting. The only draw back is the lining, which with the material is unnecessary and uncomfortable. I will definitely tailor this issue prior to my first wear. Still love it.

I really love this dress -- it fits really well; love the cut and detailing! I'm tall, so the slightly longer hemline is appreciated -- it's supposed to hit below the knee, but on me, it's just above (most dresses are way too short, so this is a welcome surprise!) I also forgot that it has pockets, which is a lovely bonus :)
