Wool dress

Love this dress! I purchased the gray in size 12 to allow extra room across my hips. My only regret, I wish I had purchased all colors. It is such a versatile addition to my wardrobe.

Love this classic work dress. Does run small so I went a size up. The chest and armholes are a little bit large, but the waist and hips fit perfect.

This dress was true to size - I am 5'5.5" and 125lb and consistently wear a size 4 in J Crew clothing. This dress fit perfectly in size 4! It is somewhat form-fitted, which I like, but others may prefer a slightly looser fit. It is a thinner wool than I expected, which is nice as I worried I wouldn't be able to wear in spring/summer but it will be fine. I bought this for work, but my husband saw it on and says it would be great for date night, too! Beautiful blue color.

This dress fits beautifully and is the perfect length. I travel out of town and this dress just needs a light iron to restore its shape. I love the versatility and change the look up by either adding a fancy necklace, or pairing it with a cardigan. No regrets with this purchase!

Purchased this dress for work and have been happy with it. I am not overly busty and this dress fits well across the front, without the strange creasing I sometime end up with on shell dress like this. If you happen to be generously gifted in that area, it may be tight. I do have a smaller waist in proportion to fuller hips and this dress was cut such that it doesn't float loosely around my waist and grab thightly around my hips, which I really appreciate. Style-wise, it's a black shell, there is not much more to say than that. Definitely needs some accompanying jewelry or a cardigan to snazz it up a bit, but that's the purpose of a basic dress.

I’m 5’6” and 125lbs. Got this in a 0 and it fit great. I love how flattering this dress is, it accentuates the waist gives you a great shape. I just wish this wasn’t dry clean only. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.
