8" mid-rise skinny jean in authentic blue wash

I love the color but this jean stretches out and loses its form. Im constantly having to pull them up or I end up with that weird, uncomfortable gap under the crotch area. Im 5'4, 145 lbs and ordered a size 27. They were are a bit short too.

These fit perfect, jeans but soft and a little stretch. Not crazy pajama jean stretch, just enough without being weird. I love them. I’m 5’6” and 140 the 28 is perfect, not too tight not too big. No skinny jean muffin top either.

I have been searching for new jeans for months and finally found the perfect pair! I love pretty much everything about these--the rise is a perfect mid-rise, just under my navel. The ankles are skinny but not that overly-skinny fit where you can barely squeeze your feet through them. The wash is slightly darker and bluer than pictured, really a perfect wash for casual jeans. They stretch out just a tiny bit through the day, enough to stay comfortable, but they never get baggy. My only complaint is that the pockets are really shallow, but I can live with that! These look and feel so good. For reference, I'm normally a size 6, sometimes a 4, and I sized down to a 27 and they fit great.

these are a little more "mom jeans" than low rise options. BUT they're comfy, stretchy and feel like they've been worn for years to the perfect fit!

Buyer beware! These have been my favorite jeans for years - perfect fit every time. However, I bought two pairs in different washes recently to replace old pairs that are wearing thin and was very surprised to find that the cut has changed significantly. Although these are still labeled as 8" mid-rise jeans, they are not. My measuring tape puts them at 10", well outside of mid-rise range and too high for comfort for me. Both pairs that I ordered are cut the same way, so I doubt it is a labeling fluke. I'm very disappointed and will have to find a new go-to jean now, unless J. Crew realizes their error and switches back to the old true mid-rise cut.

It's hard to find jeans that fit the way I like them; form fitting; but not tight. These jeans do just that.
