Great jeans, was wearing whole pregnancy
June 14, 2023I read the bad reviews, but decided to order anyway and loved them. Couldn’t wish for better jeans. At first when the belly wasn’t big enough I folded the belly part in two, later it did become tight on the top, but I just cut the material a little on the side. The jeans themselves are very flexible and were on the loose side at first and then stretched by the end of the pregnancy to fit my growing hips

SO poorly done
April 17, 2023Shoulda read reviews before purchasing. They SUUUuuuck!! I bought these when I was 4 months pregnant, and the control top was too big and the pants wouldn't stay up because they depend on the control top to stay up. Frustrating, but I thought "Ok I'll wait til my belly grows some". Now I'm in my 3rd trimester and my belly fills the control top, but HOLY COW they are uncomfortable!! The top of the control top digs into my ribcage, and the pant legs ride up when I sit down yet still stay bunched around my thighs when I stand up. Not to mention the fit. When I say these are mom jeans, I don't mean 90's mom jeans that have come back in style. I mean mom jeans that are a style that was never in style. Are they skinny jeans? Not exactly. Are they boot cut? Well, barely no. Are they boyfriend jeans? No, way too uncomfortable. These are the worst jeans I've ever bought. Expected better from J Crew!

Extremely uncomfortable
February 16, 2023I was excited to find a nice pair of straight-leg maternity jeans, but unfortunately these aren't the ones. The elastic band is extremely tight and uncomfortable- this isn't an issue of the size being too small, it's the texture of the band. The band also includes a button on the side designed to make the fit tighter or looser, but ends up being scratchy and uncomfortable. Lastly, there was a strong chemical smell that I can still smell faintly after several washes. With maternity jeans comfort is key, and I would unfortunately not recommend these.
